Wow. That was a long day. I think door to door we were gone about14 hours today which was a bit much for this group. It was a great last day, but we were all extremely tired by the end.
We woke up and headed for the Louvre. We were going to meet Donna, Eldri, Marit, and Siggy by the entrance, but we crossed paths a bit and ended up entering separately. The girls did some gymnastics in the courtyard:
Then reenacted various scenes from the art:
We visited the apartments of Napoleon III:
Saw Winged Victory:
Mona Lisa:
(She's a lot smaller than you might think)
Aphrodite/Venus:
And some art and a moat:
Noha met us during lunch. I have no idea what is happening here, but whatever it is was a lot of fun:
Hugs!
Wonderful lunch!
Siggy and Maggie even tried Grandma's escargot!
This picture is out of order but I am too tired to fix it:
This one is too -- such fun!
Then we wen to the Tuileries where the girls all did some jumping:
Enormous cotton candy:
And now my pictures are mysteriously mixed up. We went on a bus tour (which was great), Eldri, Marit, Ellie, and I went on the Ferris Wheel (what fun!), and we ate a great dinner,
Since it is way past my bedtime, I am calling it a night on this last night in Paris!!
